Exodus: Proxima Centauri
The goal for Exodus was to create a very polished, high-tech look that would radically update the game's previous graphic design. While the 1st edition of the game was extremely popular, the 2nd would address the lackluster graphics and inject much needed flavor to the game. Much of the was spend on creating a unified sci-fi aesthetic and overhauling art assets.
Player Mat
The player mat has multiple purposes: The left section serves as a tech tree where players indicate which Upgrades they possess. The right section is where players customize starship factory blueprints, adding weapons, shield and engines on the color coded spots. The bottom section is used to indicate current resource numbers.
Card Designs
There were 5 designs total and each was customized by colored metal frame art re-configured from the Action card template.
Icons & Illustrations
Resources, weapons and dozens of other icons were completely created from scratch. The original designs were merely different colored, flat vector art.
